Hello, I'm the FNG. Shaved it off in June of 2016. Women love it. I'll take that as a bonus, since what mattered far more was whether or not I liked it. I love the utility and no nonsense feel of being bald. Will probably never change it. I'm in my 30's and I don't mind living another 60 years with a bald head. In fact, I want to.

I served on active duty in the U.S. Marines for eight years and in the U.S. Army for three years. I left the military and earned my BSN. I am now a nurse that works in the emergency department for a world renowned hospital. I am also a single father that has sole custody of his two children. I've taken my lumps. You have too. I've felt pain. You have too. My point? Stand up and move forward. We are the masters of our fate, the captains of our soul. We decide. Period.

Thank you for having me. I'm proud to be bald.

Thanks! I feel welcome. And it was such an honor and privilege to serve. I prefer to thank people like you and the veterans of yesteryear that were spat on. Ex: Vietnam.
