Hey Sly-fam,
So I just did my first shave this past Friday after positing about my struggle with folliculitis. We will see how it goes, but about 5 days in and I feel like my head still looks pretty red/yellow. Attached is a picture with flash, which amplifies it. I might have seb dermatitis too. Anyways, reaching out for any tips and suggestions.
Thanks all!

Are you getting much sun? (If you are, make sure you're using sunscreen.)

I did try this weekend--my head wasn't pretty pale around the sides and back. No surprise there. YOu think it's just from sun exposure?

I'm thinking your skin needs get used to shaving and get some more sun exposure, though, not too quickly.

After shaving try using som e witch hazel. Seems to work great for me.

I've been using the witch hazel. I honestly think it's some sort of skin condition. I dunno, you only notice it up close. Any other thoughts fellas? Appreciate you all

The one thing that worked for me after my first headshave was Bump Patrol. Got it at Wal-Mart. Only had to use it for a few weeks. Looks pretty similar to what I had at the beginning.
