True Story in the Life of a Panasonic...
« on: September 14, 2011, 03:40:30 PM »
Shortly after I returned from a trip to the Western US, I missed my shaver. I looked everywhere in the bathroom cabinets and all over the house. My wife who is known for moving my "stuff" helped with the search. Just a few nights ago I was up late and kept thinking about my missing shaver. At times I keep it in a basket on top of the toilet water tank. I thought and thought and told myself, nawh! But what the heck, I went in and lifted the commode tank top and there it was laying submerged in the rusty depths of the water tank for the past 6 weeks. I resuscitated it and washed it, wiped it dry and let it sit in the air conditioned house to dry for the night. The next morning without charging it I cranked it up and had a morning shave. After which I gave it the nice long charge that it deserved. Now I must say (and all should agree) that aside from dependability, high quality, and ease of use, my Panasonic ES-8243 is one waterproof shaver.

I did just that, Magoo. They wrote me back and told me they loved the story and thanked me for telling them how satisfied I was with my Panasonic Television. True...Then I wrote them back with copies of letters and straightened them out. I thought that only happened when writing politicians.

If you don't mind me asking, how can you knock an electric razor into the toilet tank without knowing it?  First of all, the lid has to be removed and secondly, I imagine it would create quite a splash as it fell.   ???

Beats the sh!t outta me! It's not like I/we loose things. I travel with a razor all over the planet and always arrive home with it. I guess the Panny was on top of the commode lid and when removed it slid in w/o anyone hearing/noticing it. Like I said we looked for it for well over a month and it was just me thinking and telling myself to look inside just for the he!! of it.

Now that is a funny story. I guess they really are waterproff. Good thing it didn't fall in the other part of the toilet.  >:D

It's quite a story you've got there:)
like how much you paid for it?

It's been several years, but I think it was around U$D50 on E-Bay.

too sas I really can not find these in Roumanie.

If you have access go check Amazon or E-bay and see what the prices are and if they'll ship to you.
