Greetings from Tucson!
« on: September 13, 2016, 10:20:20 PM »
Hey guys, just wanted to say Hi.

Took a trip to San Diego over labor day weekend and hung out in he ocean. My scalp got sunburnt and so for the next week looked like I had super bad dandruff as it started flaking. My hair has been thinning on the front, and I have kept it down to a #1 guard with my clippers for a while now. I decided to take the plunge and shaved my head on Saturday September 10th and have shaved it everyday since then. I am digging it, took care of the flaky sunburn mess, and I think it looks decent.

The first time shaving was kind of rough, lots of redness and a couple weepers. It's not so bad now. I picked up some with hazel and been slapping that on with some lotion after the second time shaving. We'll see how the 30 days goes. ;)

Welcome, and don't worry, lots of us made rookie mistakes. Trying different things is part of the fun of having a newly shaved head. Keep reading here, there are many tips on shaving and maintaining a bald head.

Good to hear you like it so far, I hope you get positive comments. Seems family and very close friends have the hardest time with it.
Bald by choice, and loving it!

Welcome!

Glad you are liking the smooth dome. There is no feeling quite like it.

Welcome!
