Give Razor a rest. Need shaver now
« on: July 02, 2016, 06:07:01 AM »
Guys

I am giving shaving my head with a razor a rest for a bit. So, what shaver (Battery or elec) would you recommend for a very very close cut?

Obviously has to be something i can actually get here in the Brexit UK!

Cheers

https://www.amazon.com/Andis-Profoil-Lithium-Titanium-Shaver/dp/B017HWGJNA/ref=sr_1_6_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1467469827&sr=8-6&keywords=foil+shaver

This is what we use in Barber School and I use it on my own head every day.  It is made by the maker of professional barber clippers (ANDIS) and it really, really works!  It is far less expensive than the ones they market to the masses and you can get a new head {foil and blades) for it when they wear out (although I have never had to do that}.

The other professional clipper company (Wahl) also makes one of these but we have found at school that the rechargeable battery in the Wahl doesn't seem to last from repetitive charges like the Andis does.

SKULL SHAVER on amazon, pricey but worth it, you will not get shorter with any other electric shaver
