OILY HEAD....HELP
« on: March 05, 2007, 02:10:47 PM »
 :Xo!

Hello my fellow Slyguys...been a little while since I've been on the site...

I have noticed my head and forehead becoming more "oily" now that I have taken to the Sly way of the "Force"...

I have been using Neutrogena for Men face cleaner..specifically for oily skin and using that to clean my head too but its not working.  >:(

Does anyone know of any products that I can use to combat this situation...my forehead seems to be getting the worst of it but its really an allover the head situation...HELP :XX

I suggest you drill and add your oil to US Strategic Oil Reserve. After all, we're trying to reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Thanks and god bless the USA.

I've got pretty oily skin too, I started using HeadShed on both my scalp and forhead and then ClearHead on the head and alcohol on the forehead and it has cleared up well.

Diet could be a cause, but if you're on a high protien diet like me, it could be one of the drawbacks.  My wife and I sell two products by Tolsom at http://www.shoptandm.com that are designed to reduce oiliness.  There is a facial cleansing wash that I use after shaving to wash my dome and there is also a skin smoothing gel that will provide a matte finish.  They are a bit pricey, but work really well.

There is also the Bald Guyz wipes that have got great reviews here.

Yeah, beer and chili cheese fries have cleared up my skin tremendously.

Have the same issue myself- been using headlube matte mostly, but they also have some decent lotions to absorb that shine. Some other options if your on the go is baldguys wipes or some talcom powder.

I doubt that is the case...I changed me diet about 5 months ago to shed weight for running.. but I dont eat fast food, junk food, etc...alot of protein, lean meats, greens  (not greenies like barry bonds ;D ).....I think it could be related to a supplement I take called CLA...

Anyway, I bought the BaldGuy headwipes last night so I'll see how they work.
