That Awkward Moment...
« on: July 29, 2016, 11:26:46 AM »
That awkward moment when you are standing in line at Starbucks contemplating the ridiculous toupee on the guy in front of you (stereotypical pomadore, unnaturally shiny acrylic and not even the same shade as the rest of his horseshoe) and you realize the woman with him has been watching you do it. Then you compound the situation and confirm what you were doing by reaching up and rubbing the back of your own smooth scalp without thinking.

Trying to act nonchalant while she glared at me after that was difficult.

At least the Berry Sangria Tea was good.

Haha.  You should have winked at her while you were rubbing your head.   >:D

That is so funny, a middle age couple frequents the store I work at. The man has the worst toupee I have ever seen, clumps have fallen out to the point you can actually see the mesh or webbing or whatever it's called. I always end up assisting them and the woman always glares at my head with the look of pure disgust. I say at least by a better wig. I don't believe money is an issue as he drives a 100k car. Oh well you can't win em all!

This is funny. I have friends that distinguish me from the back by my bald head and the 4 pack of neck rolls over my shirt collar. Ive been in line at businesses and have friends that come up and make it quite loud about saying how they knew it was me in line... ;D

True. It seems like dudes covering or trying to hide their hair loss tend to ignore me, or give me attitude. I try not to be smug or judgmental but I'm sure they know what I'm thinking. I won't offer unsolicited advice but I'll be glad to share my opinions if asked.

So, I'm not the only one who experience this.

I've seen some Bald guys staring at my dome disgusted or give me a certain attitude, but I only rub my scalp and keep walking, haha.

I'm pretty sure that they knowow what we think : Shave it all off!
