Similar Results as Andis-T outliner Sought

Gents,

I prefer the sandpaper feel/look that I get with my Andis T-Outliner over a razor, however, the Andis really isn't good for daily use.  It's kind of rough and not a comfortable shave.  Is there a foil or other razor out there that will yield similar results and can be used daily?

I hear rotary shavers like Norelco can give you what you're looking for. Don't own one but I have a friend who uses it on his head.

I have the Andis profoil but I find it most effective with three or four days growth. I'm a wet shaver so it makes my razor shaves easier.

Braun series 3 foil does a good job. But I prefer a razor . Works faster and closer.

I actually had terrible bumps and irritation from the andis profoil lithium.  Before I used a blade on my head I would use a cheap low end remington rotary shaver that I got for like $10 about 10 years ago, same old blades and foils lol.  That thing only gave me issues on my nape area but as a whole was a very well performing device then the much more expensive andis.  It's also nice to have around because if I don't shave my head for a few days I can hit it with the remington quick pre shave to not clog my razor blades up.
