Long time lurker here, I last posted a year or so ago...how bad is my balding? I am clearly going bald, but to what extent? Is it bad enough to where I ought to buzz it all off?

I know ultimately that's all up to me, I'm not worried about what the ladies think since I have a girlfriend, I just don't want to walk around looking ridiculous. Thanks, y'all!

yeah, time to take control. long-term, you'll be in a much better place.

Well I finally managed to bite the bullet and buzz to a #4. I know most of y'all are fully shaved. Just wanted to get your take on this pic and see how much lower I should go. Thanks
Damn, 100% improvement. You could easily own a no guard.

Hate to disparage guys with that mixture of bad thinning and long hair, but it always looks SICKLY to me. What you did already looks much healthier. Feels good to own it, huh?

It really does feel amazing. I'm not sure why I was so worried about it. Almost all the comments I've gotten have been positive, but most people haven't even said anything. I plan on buzzing once a week from now on. May move down to a #3 on top with this week's buzz or next week's.

All that said, I have to give my GF some credit for this one...she was running her fingers through my hair near the crown last week and just said, "it's time to buzz." She didn't want me to do it for a while, but now she actually really likes my head buzzed. At the rate my MPB seems to be moving, I'll probably shave my head entirely before too terribly long.

Shave it and then own it. No one will say a word if you wear a shaved head with confidence. Only one person has ever said anything negative about my head being shaved and that was a friend of my ex-wife (neither of which can say anything kind) and even she ended her nonsense by saying, "... but it does look good."

Your head is ready. The question is, "are you ready?"

I think you are, because if you were not, you would not be here.

Shave it and post the pic.

you look good with buzz.  as others have said just cutting it shorter each time until there is no hair visible or by feel.  You will like it and others accept you  as is.

huge improvement. you could easily get away with a #1 or #000 permanently. buzz it yourself and never pay a barber another dime. cheers.
