I was looking around my house the other day and I realized that I quite a few things that suck. I was thinking to myself, "why did I buy all this stuff that sucks?" Well, that really depends on what the item is. Below are 5 things that I own that suck, but I recommend you buy.

Vacuum Trimmer

If you are like me and you're tired of cleaning up those little hairs that fall to the counter when trimming your beard, then a Vacuum Trimmer is for you. Both Phillips Norelco and Remington make a mustache and beard trimmer that has an internal vacuum to suck up the hair that it cuts instead of letting them fall to the floor. This way you don't have to spend time wiping the little hairs up when you're done trimming.

Dyson Animal Vacuum

My wife and I got the Dyson Animal Vacuum for a wedding gift. I was a bit skeptical about how well the Dyson would work compared to other vacuums and it was really worth it's price tag. Let's just say that this thing sucks in a big way! And that's a good thing!

I first tried out our Dyson Animal Vacuum when we were moving out of our apartment into our new house. We had some old berber carpet in there that decided to collect about years worth of dust under the couch. This stuff was black. I thought, there's no way we're getting our deposit back now. FoodSaver

I eat a lot of meat. I mean, we're talking a lot of meat - chicken, beef, elk, deer, pork, turkey, and various types of fish. One of the best and least expensive places to buy good meat is Costco. The problem I found that they sell it in such bulk that I couldn't get to all of the remaining meat before it got freezer burnt. I went looking for a solution to this problem and found the FoodSaver.

The FoodSaver has revolutionized the way that I buy stuff now. I no longer have to worry about buying too much, because I can just throw the excess into the FoodSaver bags and vacuum all the air out to get a tight seal on it. Then it's fresh until I can get around to it. The FoodSaver comes with a roll that allows you to create large or small bags or you can buy bags that are sealed on one end so it's quicker to seal your food. On top of meat, I also use the FoodSaver to seal cheese that I buy in big blocks and food that I've cooked that I want to store in your freezer without it going bad.

ShopVac

The ShopVac should be a staple in any man's garage. You don't want to use your regular vacuum to pick up nails, screws, and other crud that you need to vacuum in your garage. Plus, if your wife caught you using her vacuum, well I don't even want to talk about what might happen.

Flowbee

I'm kidding people! Why would I need one? I shave my head! No one should buy a Flowbee unless of course it's for your white elephant party.
