NBC recently did an article and photo gallery on the different signs that the women's beach volleyball players use to communicate in the Olympics. I just want to take a moment to solute Mr Photo Gallery Man for his genius ability to work in hot beach volleyball ass into mainstream media. I'd also like to give huge kudos to the great eyes of the the photographers that took these pictures.

Typically this type of brilliant display of journalism would be displayed in magazines such as Maxim, but NBC has come through on this one in a huge way. Way to go NBC!

I was recently in New Orleans for a tradeshow for the television industry. The Kardashians were there promoting their show and the E! Network. Amongst other celebs at the show were Bill Bellamy and Brent Michaels.

While I didn't take the opportunity to pose for a pic with those guys (what guy in their right mind would do that?), I did happen to meet another set of hot actresses that were in New Orleans to film a new movie called Mardi Gras.

I had left my hotel to go buy some pralines to bring home as souveniers and to get some lunch before having to fly out. As I was heading down the street, two very beautiful women walked out of a building right in front of me and then stopped to aske me how to get to a restaurant called Lucy's. I pointed down the street to where it was and then continued on my way. Well, on the way back from getting the pralines I decided Lucy's was a good place to get lunch. I happened to sit a couple seats from the ladies at the bar and when they say me they said hello. I then asked what they were doing in New Orleans and they said that they were there to film the movie Mardi Gras.

The two actresses happened to be Rebecca and Jessica O'Donahue. You may (or may not) remember them from "I know prounounce you Chuck and Larry" or Maxim magazine.

This video aired on April fools day, but doesn't appear to be an April fools day joke. Check it out and leave a comment on whether you think Pat is really bald or is this just a joke? If he is bald, he rocks the look!

Today, one of our forum members submited a link to a post at DoubleViking.com that outlines their thoughts on the 15 most badass bald guys.  All of the badasses that they outline are really characters from movies, tv, or video games.  Guys like John McClane, Riddick, Agent 47, Kane, and others (to view the entire list, go to http://www.doubleviking.com/bullet-points-the-15-most-badass-bald-guys-7575-p.html).  They also include a video or picture of each guy that they outline along with a funny little bit on why each guy is a badass.  Here's what they say about John McClane:

"In the first Die Hard, he had some hair. In the second, he had a
little less. In the third, his hair seemed to be making a beeline for
the back of his skull, and the fourth it was gone altogether. He is
John McClane, and his head is far too badass to tolerate simple hair
follicles."

I'm always glad to see sites (especially big ones like DoubleViking.com) to put bald guys in a positive light.  Can anyone think of more badass bald guys that weren't listed?

Alexander Roy is bald and he's an outlaw in the road rally racing world. Here's what the NY Times had to say about him:

"Roy, the 35-year-old president of Europe by Car, a high-end car rental agency based in New York, has achieved fame in automotive circles for participating in road rallies like the Gumball 3000 and Bullrun. Those events are successors to the 1970s Cannonball Runs that inspired the movie franchise.

The events are usually weeklong affairs that do not officially sanction racing but involve teams speeding from checkpoint to checkpoint.

A relentless self-promoter with a shiny bald head, Roy became known for driving in a mock German police car dressed as an officer. He reasoned the outfit could help keep him out of jail and win style points with judges and notoriety with fans. His co-driver, Maher, 28, works in banking and races in Porsche club events on weekends. " (Read the entire article)

Roy recently came out with the book, “The Driver: My Dangerous Pursuit of Speed and Truth in the Outlaw Racing World,” which describes a subculture of illegal endurance racing and efforts to break transcontinental records set in the 1970s and ’80s.
